Love owls? Everyone is welcome to come along and find out all about the magnificient Powerful Owl, the largest owl in our area. Get the latest on what has been happening with the Powerful Owl Project.This citizen science research project is being run by BirdLife Australia and has recently expanded to the Illawarra. This community information session includes a discussion about how you can help increase bird diversity in urban backyards. This activity is a joint partnership between BirdLife Australia, Shellharbour City Council's environment team and Illawarra Birders. Bookings are essential as places are limited.
