"Sea the Light" is a series of unique lantern making workshops held in Shellharbour for the purpose of empowering participants and onlookers. This is the third of six workshops working towards a community-led lantern parade and will play an integral part in The Waterfront Food and Wine Festival on 26 February 2022.
This workshop is facilitated by Phil Relf from IKARA Celebratory Events and Kylie Morrison from Astarte Mind and Body who promote art and creativity as an essential aspect of our humanity.
Today's session will focus on creating a small lantern using a variety of materials and techniques and is suitable for 5-12 year olds. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate and support their child in the art making process. Please book a ticket for each person attending.
