The Illawarra Grevillea Park invites you to come and spend a few hours or a day in the park! Hundreds of new plants will have been added to the gardens’ extensive collection with the new picnic area finished as well as new signage. The sensory walk through the rainforest will be complete. An impressive variety of autumn natives, many rarely seen, will be in flower.
Hundreds of natives will be available for purchase, including grafted grevilleas, eremophilas and flowering gums. Eftpos available.
There will be plenty of books to browse and purchase at low prices.
Additional copies of the new book The Illawarra Grevillea Park Botanic Garden: A Photographic Portrait have been ordered and will be available for purchase. The book has approximately 400 photographs and provides information on how to grow Grevilleas and some of the other plants we have in the Park. The photographs are fantastic and will help you to identify plants, or you can just enjoy them for the beauty of the flowers and plants.
Advice for growing native plants for your garden as well.
BBQ facilities available and easy access to display gardens, including the rainforest, for wheelchairs and prams. Dogs on leash allowed.
