Join us for a full day of practical career development, including resume and cover letter help, mock interviews, and personalised feedback from employment experts and local professionals.

 Morning Session: Resume & Cover Letter Support

Bring a current resume or start from scratch with guidance from employment specialists and our Community Programs Team. We’ll help you format, edit, and create professional resumes and cover letters—plus assist with printing or creating digital copies ready to send to employers.

 Afternoon Session: Mock Interviews

Practice your interview skills with real interviewers from local businesses and council administration staff.
You’ll receive:

• A scheduled time slot (just like a real interview)
• Tailored questions based on the job you’re applying for
• Helpful feedback to boost your confidence and performance

After your interview, feel free to chat one-on-one with our expert job coach, for extra tips that can make a big difference.

We have limited access to some laptops however we recommend that students bring their own device if possible.

Snacks will be provided however attendees will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle.
