Shellharbour City Council and Zonta Club invite you to the 16 Days of Activism launch to raise awareness and share support services.
Shellharbour City Council and the Zonta Club of Kiama-Shellharbour invite you to join us for the launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, a global movement calling for an end to gender-based violence in all its forms.

This special community event will bring together local leaders, advocates, and community members to raise awareness, honour victims and survivors, and inspire collective action toward a safer, more equal society.

The event will feature:

Commemorative ceremony honoring the lives of victims of gender-based violence in NSW
A lived experience talk sharing personal insights and resilience
Panel discussion exploring coercive control, changes in legislation, prevention, and community responsibility
Information stalls from local and regional support services offering resources and advice
Join us as we stand together to say no to violence and yes to equality, respect, and safety for all
