Early Start Discovery Space is Australia’s only dedicated children’s museum. With more than 14 interactive experiences to explore, Early Start Discovery Space is the ultimate learn-through-play centre for children (0-10 years) and adults to enjoy together.
Explore a giant stomach, design and construct a house, dig for fossils, discover the world of decorative and creative art, be a train conductor, act on stage, sail a ship, crawl through a cave, play with water, immerse yourself in our LEGO™ bricks room, create digital media and so much more.

The Early Start Discovery Space is an interactive educational space designed for children and adults to enjoy together.
Activities are designed to allow children to take control and share their imagination and creativity with others. The best-designed activities ensure accompanying adults have as much enjoyment as children, sharing the experience as co-learners and creators.
When you visit some things might be a little different:
•Online bookings are essential for all, including members
•One daily session only from 9am – 1.30pm (Tuesday – Sunday) Arrive any time.
•Some high-touch Experiences will be closed (e.g. The Cave, The Tummy)
•Other Experiences have been adjusted to create more space and each has a maximum capacity.
•There will be no daily activities, for the time being, to avoid group gatherings
•Parking on campus is FREE until 30 September
•Our Gift Shop remains closed for now
