One Day in Shellharbour

When you arrive in the quaint village of Shellharbour you will be pleasantly surprised by its charm.  Here you can can explore the towns history by following the Heritage Trail and enjoy the walk along the harbour’s edge to the ocean pool, named after Olympic swimmer Beverley Whitfield.  Don’t forget to visit the boutiques for a sneaky holiday shop.  After your stroll indulge in some cake and coffee at one of the many cafes

From here you head out west to the HARS Aviation Museum, where you will see an amazing collection of aircraft on display including the world record breaking 747 where you can walk up high on the wing or sit in the pilot seat of an F-111 fighter jet.

A short 18 minute drive inland and you can stroll through nature and hike along bush trails through Macquarie Pass National Park – you can even take a brisk plunge under the waterfall.

Enjoy dinner at one of the local licensed clubs or take in a performance at the local Roo Theatre.
