Bushscapes in Charcoal – Shellharbour Civic Centre

Come and enjoy a relaxing afternoon where you will be able to learn the Australian Bush through charcoal strokes.

Meet the artist and facilitator Kylie, she has achieved a Bachelor of Art Education and has been teaching for 28 years. She is a multi-disciplined artist, who works across a range of mediums including drawing, painting, design, costuming, prop creation, and dance.

In this workshop, discover the Australian Bush textures, lines and ruggedness, perfect for the medium of charcoal. Starting from the background to the foreground, building up our layers and textures as we go to create a beautiful black and white landscape drawing. Sample images will be supplied, or you are most welcome to bring your own. 

All materials will be provided in this workshop. 

This class is suitable for beginners over the age of 16 years.

With only 12 in a group, these intimate classes are a lot of fun so bring your friends or family!
