A Healthy End of Life cafe is a safe space where people can come together, drink tea and coffee and enjoy an open and relaxed talk about death and dying, with a view to helping people make the most of, and enjoy their finite lives.

Get to know your facilitator Carolyn Vaughan. Carolyn is a trained and experienced End of Life Doula, Community Educator and Death Café Facilitator working in the Illawarra Region of NSW. She provides non-medical support and guidance to individuals, their families and carers as they navigate the end-of-life process, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of dying. The focus of Carolyn’s doula work lies in supporting people to build their knowledge and understanding of the end-of-life space, including after death, so that they develop an increased sense of choice, capacity, and control in how they choose to embrace and navigate this time in their life.

You can share a story if you wish, or just listen and observe. There is no agenda and the discussion is group determined. Be prepared for some interesting conversation.
