Multi instrumentalist, Max Smidt has been a well known entertainer in the local scene for almost 25 years. Performing both original material and iconic hits in live venues, festival stages and many other events. He has also been the opening act for some of Australia’s biggest recording heritage artists. But this is not just another singer with an acoustic guitar playing songs that all sound the same. With an armoury of different elements consisting of beat box, stomp box, electric percussion & tambourine, octave bass, acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals to create an ensemble that’ll have you foot stompin and singing along to iconic songs from a diverse range of music. From Prince to Johnny Cash, Bon Jovi to Bob Marley, The Killers to Elvis, The Rolling Stones to INXS and a whole swag of Aussie pub rock classics.
