These school holidays, experience the rainforest like never before. Join this ranger-guided walk through Minnamurra Rainforest in Budderoo National Park, west of Kiama on the NSW South Coast.
Walk alongside an NPWS ranger and hear stories about the unique plants and animals of the rainforest. We’ll spend time looking at what these animals eat, where they like to hide and how they build their homes.
Your tour begins at the entrance of Minnamurra Rainforest Centre. From here your guide will lead you through the stunning subtropical rainforest along Lyrebird loop walk. Enjoy the peace and quiet, and feel the timeless calming energy of this ancient habitat.
Tour dates: Monday 29 September and Tuesday 7 October 2025.
Tour times: 10am to 10.30am; 11am to 11.30am; 12pm to 12.30pm.
Where: Lyrebird loop walk, Budderoo National Park
Accessibility: No wheelchair access
Grade: Easy. Suitable for adults and children, 5 years and over. You’ll walk 1.6km.
Price: Adult $10 per person. Child (5 to 16 years) $5 per person. Family (2 adults and 2 children) $25. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults need to book and pay.
