The Illawarra Edible Garden Trail is back for its 3rd year — and it’s more than just a weekend stroll. From Helensburgh to Shell Cove, gardeners of all levels are flinging open their front gates to welcome you into their veggie patches, community gardens, crop swap spots, school gardens, and hobby farms.

Whether you’re a budding grower, a seasoned soil-builder, or just a curious sticky-beak, this is your chance to explore how food is grown in all kinds of environments. Ask the big questions (and the quirky ones too!) — from raising chooks and choosing the right plants, to edible weeds, native foods, shady garden hacks, and the art of building great soil.
