Event Details

The Inorganic Body is an open physical theatre workshop and showing that invites audiences inside a living, breathing creative process. Developed over the course of a two week residency at The Imaginarium, this event offers a rare glimpse into how movement, image, and imagination come together to create embodied worlds on stage.

The day begins with a 30-40 minute performance showing, sharing key discoveries, fragments, and compositions that have emerged throughout our research. This is followed by a 20-minute insight into our process, where we unpack how we’ve been working with the body as material exploring tension, rhythm, weight, and transformation through physical theatre.

If you chose to stay the final part of the event is our workshop! A guided movement exploration, open to all bodies and experience levels. Participants will be led through playful, curiosity-driven exercises that invite you to move, observe, and create from within, discovering how stories can emerge through physicality, spatial awareness, and object-based play. This is not about performance or technique, but about sensation, presence, and collective exploration.

Whether you’re an artist, performer, or simply curious about movement and storytelling, The Inorganic Body offers an immersive, hands-on experience that blurs the line between audience and maker, inviting you to witness, reflect, and move alongside us.
