Unleash your creativity and build a charming haven for our feathered friends in this hands-on workshop dedicated to crafting decorative upcycled birdhouses. Using salvaged pallets and fence palings as our canvas, Sharyn and Anita will guide you through the process of constructing a unique birdhouse, complete with a roof and a perch.

In this immersive, hands on workshop, you’ll learn how to safely use essential woodworking tools like the mitre saw, belt sander, drill, and driver to transform reclaimed pallets into functional (and fun) birdhouses. New to upcycling and using tools? Our experienced instructors will provide step-by-step instructions, ensuring that you feel confident and empowered throughout the upcycle process.

Once the birdhouse structure is complete, the real magic begins. With a wide array of found materials and fairy wrens at your disposal, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your creation to life. Let your imagination soar as you adorn your birdhouse with unique decorations, creating a whimsical and eye-catching sanctuary that will attract and delight our feathered friends.

This workshop is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from woodworking enthusiasts to beginners eager to learn new techniques.

Please bring your enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a sense of adventure. Feel free to bring any additional found materials, trinkets, or decorations that you’d like to incorporate into your birdhouse.
