Are your tools in need of a little TLC? Join us for this hands on workshop where we’ll bring new life to your beloved tools that require sharpening or repair. This is a unique opportunity to learn essential skills that will empower you to take care of your tools and extend their lifespan.

In this interactive workshop, bring along any tools that need some love, whether it’s a dull blade, a wobbly handle, or any other issues that require attention. Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves and work side by side, breathing fresh life into your trusty companions.

Under the guidance of The Tinkerage coordinator, you’ll learn some great tool maintenance and restoration skills. We’ll cover a range of techniques, including how to use a sharpening stone to revive the sharpness of blades and edges, and the proper use of a bench grinder to bring back their original precision. You’ll also discover the secrets of replacing broken handles on tools, giving them a sturdy and functional grip once again.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll gain valuable insights and tips, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to tackle future tool maintenance projects with confidence.

This workshop is open to all skill levels and is designed to be accessible to both beginners and those with some prior experience in tool maintenance. Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast, a gardener, or simply someone who appreciates the value of a well-maintained tool, this workshop is for you!
