Weavers/Dementia Carers Meet Up at The Waterfront Shell Cove

Are you currently caring for or have you previously cared for a loved one with dementia? We understand the challenges you face and are here to support you through the “Weavers Program.” Our peer mentors walk alongside carers throughout their journey, offering invaluable support, guidance, companionship, and a listening ear, drawing from their own experiences. The program warmly welcomes new carers and Weavers alike, with the goal of ensuring no one feels alone in their caregiving role.

We are planning a Weavers Program meet-up in late September and would love to hear from you if you’re interested in attending. Please note that, due to funding received for this program, only female carers may participate. Join us for an opportunity to connect, share, and find support in a community that truly understands.

Guests are invited to meet at 9:30am at the Waterfront Sales Centre for a guided walk followed by morning tea at the Tavern at 10:15am.
