Illawarra Regional Airport
The sky is the limit at Illawarra's only Regional Airport at Albion Park Rail.
Take a scenic flight over the magnificent coastline of the Illawarra in a plane, helicopter, biplane, microlight, gyrocopter or you can take the plunge and Skydive from 14,000 feet.
On the ground you can visit the HARS Aviation Museum to see the amazing historic aircraft display including the airline of the 1950's the Super Constellation affectionately know as the Connie, the Neptune Bombers, Catalina, Dakota and sit in the cockpit of the F1-11 Fighter Jet. A new arrival to the museum is the record breaking Qantas 747-400 'City of Canberra' - the only one in the world displayed for public viewing.
Tours of the HARS Museum are available 7 days a week from 9.30am - 2.30pm or attend their Tarmac Days that are held on the 2nd Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each month.
The airport not only caters to recreational activities we also have daily commecial flights to Melbourne (Essendon) and Brisbane with JETGO Airlines, beach patrol, surveillance services for the Illawarra; jet charter services; aircraft repairs; and helicopter charter.
