Illawarra Grevillea Park
The Illawarra Grevillea Park is arguably the best of its kind in Australia. Just walking through the gates invites a feeling of getting back to nature. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Illawarra escarpment, and with views to the ocean this is a plant lover's paradise. At every turn there is something unique to see. It has the quality of a botanic gardens, displaying the rare and the beautiful. And then there is the rainforest, the birds and so much more.

The Illawarra Grevillea Park - Just an hour and half by car from just about anywhere in Sydney.
The park aims to encourage the appreciation and study of native plants by being:
- the repository for the living collection of the Grevillea Study Group, a study group of the Australian Plants society.
- the repository for various other distinctive native flora, often grafted to ensure it survives in our more humid and wet east coast climate
- educational resource for the study of native plants
- an area where the general public can see and appreciate the use of native plants, and be inspired to further their knowledge of Australian plants.
