Slow down, explore the beauty of the woodlands and learn the joy of nature journaling with artist Penny Sadubin.

Create a small booklet to work with and gain confidence to continue nature journaling at home.

All materials are provided. This free workshop is designed for adults and young people aged 12+ are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Come join us for a fun and creative session where we will explore the beauty of nature through journaling. This in-person event will allow you to immerse yourself in the surroundings of the woodlands, capturing your observations on paper. This workshop is organised by Shellharbour City Council’s Environment Team in celebration of World Environment Day and the biodiversity value of the Illawarra Lowland Grassy Woodlands.

Please note this activity will involve a short walk through the woodland along uneven surfaces and some sitting on the ground.
