Soul Clay Studios, the first of its kind on the South Coast, is filled with bubbling creativity as 24 resident artists pursue their love of ceramics alongside students, workshop participants and the experienced mentors who guide them.

Make your own ‘hug mug’ 

This workshop will show you how to make and decorate your own hug mug. Learn new clay hand-building techniques to create your mug and decorate using stamps, textures, and mark-making.
*please note a hug mug does not have a handle

What’s included:

• 2-hour hand-building workshop
• Clay
• Tuition
• Use of tools & equipment
• Techniques for decorating your hug mug
• Clear glaze firing of one hug mug per person

Mugs will be fired in the studio and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after the workshop
