Bodyfit Shellharbour is opening its doors to the entire community this August, inviting locals of all ages to experience a weekend dedicated to health, wellbeing and community connection.

The Community Open Weekend, running from Friday 7 August to Sunday 9 August, marks an exciting new chapter for the local fitness and wellness centre. More than just a gym open day, the event has been organised to bring together local businesses, sporting clubs, health professionals and families in a celebration of everything our community has to offer.

Throughout the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Bodyfit’s facilities and group fitness classes, meet local businesses, enjoy interactive activities and discover services available throughout the Shellharbour region. A number of community organisations and local businesses will also be hosting complimentary stalls, creating a vibrant event that showcases the incredible people and businesses that make our community unique.

We want the entire local area to experience the amazing community and vibe that Bodyfit is; this weekend is about bringing people together, supporting local businesses and giving the community an opportunity to connect. Whether you’ve been a member for years or have never stepped inside our club before, everyone is welcome.

Visitors can expect:

Entry to the Community Open Weekend is completely free, with everyone encouraged to come along, meet local businesses and experience everything Bodyfit has to offer.

Local businesses interested in participating are invited to register their interest. Stall spaces are complimentary, with participating businesses receiving exposure through the event’s marketing campaign, including social media, email promotions and printed promotional material.

Bodyfit Shellharbour has become much more than a gym since opening its doors. The club prides itself on creating an inclusive environment where fitness, recovery and community come together, and this event reflects that vision.

The Community Open Weekend will take place from Friday 7 August to Sunday 9 August 2026 at Bodyfit Shellharbour.
