Paint & Sip – Aboriginal Art – Wooden Boards at Georgia Rose

Experience a meaningful Aboriginal art workshop led by Richard Campbell from Gumaraa Aboriginal Experience.

Beginning with a Welcome to Country and the powerful sounds of the didgeridoo, participants will learn about Aboriginal culture, symbols, patterns and storytelling before creating their own contemporary dot painting on a wooden board. All boards are sealed with a food safe lacquer so can be used as a cheeseboard, chopping board or kept for display.

In a relaxed Paint & Sip setting, Richard will guide you through traditional dot-painting techniques and the cultural significance behind the art form, with inspiration drawn from Country, nature and connection.

Each participant will take home their own hand-painted wooden board as a unique and meaningful keepsake.
