Event Details

Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm were German folklorists and linguists who are well known for their fairytales and folklore. Regularly alluding to old gods and guardian spirits, the Brothers Grimm have a collection of tales reimagined from manuscripts of Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin.

This year we are excited to announce our guest speaker, Kate Forsyth, who will be presenting a seminar on the life and works of the Brothers Grimm!

An award-winning author, poet and storyteller, Kate has a special interest in fairytales, folklore and mythology.

Join us on Friday 14 November at 6pm and enjoy an evening of fairytales and folklore, the story of the brothers from their humble upbringing in Germany surrounded by lush gardens and forests, and through their lives and creative endeavors.

This event will include tea and light refreshments, a themed venue and an opportunity to purchase Grimm’s Fairytales books and those of our presenter!
