Shellharbour City Council holds the annual Good Neighbour Awards to recognise and celebrate the community members who reach out, support and help care for the people in their neighbourhoods. Shellharbour has been celebrating Good Neighbours since 2001. These awards are celebrated as part of Relationship Australia’s National Neighbour Day, which is held on the last Sunday of March each year.

Nominating someone is the perfect way to say thanks for being a great neighbour as well as going in the draw to win great prizes. Thanks to very generous donations from our corporate sponsors, the 2024 awards had over $2,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.
