Incubator Artist in Residence, Tammie Castles at The Imaginarium

Our Resident artist, Tammie Castles is an educator and artist from Dharawal Country – Oak Flats NSW. She’s a graduate of the National Art School, and specialised in drawing and sculpture. Her work revolves around the concept of home and place, the history and memories that it holds and the collective space that we share.

Over the last few years, she has shifted her focus into the field of ceramics to combine her drawing practice into functional pieces. See her work on Instagram @tammiecastlesart

Tammie Castles is currently part of Shellharbour City Council’s Incubator
Artist in Residence program. This program is based for 4 weeks
at The Imaginarium, a creative space in Shellharbour Village. It
provides emerging artists with a dedicated space and time to
cultivate new work, explore ideas and develop their practice.
