Event Details

Walk alongside an NPWS ranger and hear stories about the unique plants and animals of the rainforest. We’ll spend time looking at what these animals eat, where they like to hide and how they build their homes.

Your tour begins at the entrance of Minnamurra Rainforest Centre. From here your guide will lead you through the stunning subtropical rainforest along Lyrebird loop walk. Enjoy the peace and quiet, and feel the timeless calming energy of this ancient habitat.

Please bring hat, sunscreen, raincoat, sturdy shoes, snacks and drinking water. This tour runs in all weather. The rainforest is the place to be in the rain, so come prepared.

Grade easy. Suitable for adults and children, 5 years and over. You’ll walk 1.6km. There is no wheelchair access. Bookings are essential for all activities.
