Create native bats in a hands-on weaving workshop!

Corinne Payne (Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, Ngarrabul and Walbanja Yuin) is the resident artist at the Imaginarium in June, creating large suspended flying bat sculptures with woven bodies and semi-transparent wings.

Join Corrine as she leads a hands-on weaving workshop to make your very own woven bats. This workshop will offer participants the chance to learn new skills and connect more deeply with the themes explored in the work.

The project is inspired by Shellharbour City Council’s flying-fox habitat restoration efforts.

This event is free – however bookings are required via the website.
