Learn the joy of nature journaling and explore the beauty of the woodlands at Croom Reserve in this hands-on, creative event.
Slow down, explore the beauty of the woodlands and learn the joy of nature journaling with artist Penny Sadubin.
Create a small booklet to work with and gain confidence to continue nature journaling at home.
All materials are provided. This free workshop is designed for adults and young people aged 12+ are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Come join us for a fun and creative session where we will explore the beauty of nature through expressing your observations on paper. This event is perfect for anyone who wants to connect with nature in a unique way.
This workshop is organised by Shellharbour City Council’s Environment Team in celebration of the biodiversity value of the special bushland called Illawarra Lowlands Grassy Woodlands at Croom Reserve.
Please note this activity will involve a short walk through the woodland along uneven surfaces and some sitting on the ground.
The meeting place is the carpark at John O’Dwyer Oval in Croom Reserve.
In the event of unsuitable weather conditions the event will be rescheduled, you will receive a cancellation notice by 8am on the day. If you can’t make it, please cancel your booking as there will be a waiting list.
